Google has extended its own Android Enterprise Recommended program and now also lists EMMs. The program was initially started with handsets and is now being expanded. As an admin you now have the possibility to recognize certified EMMs at a glance.

Samsung offers its own hardware-based security solution on Android for its devices: Knox. It won´t be an independent solution for long, as Samsung and Google see many similarities in their solutions. Furthermore, there will be major changes in Android and Android Enterprise with Android 10, so Samsung had to act. What was known as Unification last year is now called Harmonization, and Samsung’s solution is now called Knox Platform for Enterprise (Premium).

With MobilIron Core 9.7 IT-admins are now able to activate Android Oreo devices as managed devices with a work profile: COPE (Corporate Owned, Personally Enabled).

Update: Apple is informed!

  1. Restore your iPhone to newest iOS (iOS11.2.5)
  2. Put your simcard on the device and use 4G network to active iPhone – don’t use WiFi
  3. Once activated, take out the simcard once actived,you must take out the simcard to disconnect the 4G network.
  4. Then press back button,you will see can’t download profile and pass it
  5. Pass set touch ID and passcode settings don’t add any passcode and ID.
  6. Press next to download profile page.
  7. Put back sim card again to connect 4G network and download the profile file.
  8. After profile download done,press Back button(don’t press next otherwise go to setp 1)
  9. Press Back button passcode setting page and choose don’t use the passcode, all done enjoy mdm bypass on ios11.2.5.

Google has launched a new service: Android Enterprise Recommended. This should make it easier for enterprise customers to identify the right devices, systems and services for Android Enterprise. The framework is made available to partners, including OEMs of “dedicated” and rugged devices, mobile operators, enterprise mobility management (EMM) vendors and system integrators. Android recommended devices are the first step.

Up to now, admins has the choice of two global containers on Samsung devices: KNOX or Android Enterprise (formerly Android for Work). Starting with Android Oreo on Samsung devices, administrators no longer have to make a decision, because both solutions have been combined into one solution.
